Physiological response of Solanum nigrum to salt stress

چکیده
The effects of salt stress (100, 200, 300 mmol/L) on physiological characteristics Solanum nigrum seedlings were studied by pot experiment. results showed that the contents chlorophyll a, b, carotenoids and total in S. leaves a trend first flattening then increasing with aggravation stress. With stress, net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance intercellular CO2 concentration decreased gradually, reached lowest value when NaCl was mmol/L. increase concentration, SOD activity gradually. When mmol/L, 53.39% (P < 0.05). activities POD, CAT soluble protein increased concentration. 100 content maximum.

Physiological response of Lactobacillus plantarum to salt and nonelectrolyte stress.
In this report, we compared the effects on the growth of Lactobacillus plantarum of raising the medium molarity by high concentrations of KCl or NaCl and iso-osmotic concentrations of nonionic compounds. Analysis of cellular extracts for organic constituents by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy showed that salt-stressed cells do not contain detectable amounts of organic osmolytes, whereas...
متن کاملResponse of Two Indica Rice Varieties to Salt Stress
Salinity is one of the most challenging problems that adversely affects growth and development of plants. Therefore, understanding of the mechanisms that enable plants to adapt to salinity stress will ultimately help in the selection of stress tolerant cultivars for exploiting saline soils. The main objective of this study was to examine the effects of NaCl on some physiological and biochemic...
متن کاملPhysiological and biochemical responses of Hypericum perforatum to salt stress and salicylic acid spraying
Salinity is one of the main obstacles to the successful production of agricultural products. Hormonal compounds such as salicylic acid (SA) as plant growth regulators can have different physiological and biochemical effects in plants under salt stress. In present research, the effects of different concentrations of sodium chloride (2, 6 and 10 dS/m) and foliar application of SA (0, 0.25 and ...
متن کاملTranscriptomic and Physiological Variations of Three Arabidopsis Ecotypes in Response to Salt Stress
Salt stress is one of the major abiotic stresses in agriculture worldwide. Analysis of natural genetic variation in Arabidopsis is an effective approach to characterize candidate salt responsive genes. Differences in salt tolerance of three Arabidopsis ecotypes were compared in this study based on their responses to salt treatments at two developmental stages: seed germination and later growth....
